Description
This Pinot Noir is produced from 100% Estate grown fruit which underwent maceration and fermentation for approximately three weeks, 20% whole bunch. The wine is then aged 30% in new French barriques with the balance in seasoned oak for 12 months, after which the wine is then bottled unfiltered and un-fined.
Enticing aromatics of violets, dark cherry, redcurrants and cedar lead to earthy, lightly spiced, subtle oak and red berries on the palate, finishing with smooth tannins.
